Bless you, Seeds of Compassion -- the organizers, the fundraisers, the 1500 volunteers -- for bestowing such a magnificent gift on Seattle, the Pacific Northwest, and indeed the US as a whole. I found myself marveling today as I realized I was looking at and listening to two winners of the Nobel Peace Prize (His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the Archbishop Desmond Tutu) on stage together -- here, in Seattle! -- as they talked about compassion and spirituality. What a gift! What a blessing.

Now you're going to have to shoulder the burdens of your own beautiful, heartful success. Having kindled this fire -- sowed these seeds -- in better than 150,000 people, what are you going to do to keep the fires burning? You won't need to do this  alone -- I suspect you'll have lots of help -- but I'm looking to you to lead the way, now that you've opened the magnificent door.

Words can not adequately express what is in my heart. The workshops and presentations have restored my faith and provided me with hope for the future, once again.  I've been blessed by the words of wisdom spoken throughout the conference from His Holiness and the many presenters.  It is uplifting to be with thousands of like-minded people who are working to create a better world for our children. You have my deepest gratitude. I appreciate your dedication to peace, and its manisfestation in the past five days. Peace be with you.

These workshops sound fantastic! It is most unfortunate that I along with many other early childhood educators will be unable to attend as we will be teaching the subjects of these workshops!

This is a vast array of speakers and workshops on many topics. How were they chosen?

It would be great if we can access at least some of these wonderful workshops through the internet. Thanks! Smile
From Sophia's Mommy [216.9.23.219] - 2008-04-09 06:55:21

I am very interested in attending many of these workshops. However, being the mother of a toddler, I do not have the freedom to attend as many as I would like.

Will these workshops be available to watch online or via audio/dvd for purchase. It would be a big help for those of us who want to participate but are unable to for various reasons.

Thanks so much!

Peace-

C

I am glad that these workshops will add toward continuing educational credits for various professionals.

Thank you for this arrangement, your Compassionate Psychotherapist !!!

What an amazing list of participants  who will offer their valuable perspectives of compassion in action.

I notice that some folks have their degrees and/or courtesy titles  listed and others do not. Would it be possible to ammend the website so that either the degress are noted  for the participants or all are omitted?

Thanks
