Viewing Parties

During the Seeds of Compassion 5-day gathering, people without tickets were still able to be a part of this great moment in history by joining a viewing party. The viewing parties, which were held at public libraries, community centers, and other institutions, tuned in to Internet simulcasts or Seattle-area TV broadcasts.

The good news is that it's not too late to view the events with your family, friends, or neighbors. Here are the steps to host an informal discussion at your convenience:

  1. Choose a webcast from a 24-language archive.
  2. Read Tips for Group Discussion.
  3. Download a Viewing Guide. These materials are customized for each type of audience. (The general guide is also available in five other languages.)

Correction: The Viewing Guides were published before the number of webcast languages changed from 28 to 24.

What a great opportunity to learn about compassion for our children and for our community!  Thank you for organizing viewing parties.

How great to have places in our neighborhoods to go. See you there!
