Muslim Youth and Spiritual Connection Dialogue

Description
This workshop is designed to give Muslim youth a chance to voice the unique challenges they face on a daily basis, and to listen to the challenges and hopes others have in relating to them. It is also designed to draw more Muslim youth and adults to participate in this endeavour and to foster greater mutual understanding, respect, and compassion between Muslims and non-Muslims.
This is your chance to:
- Learn what the Qur’an says about to compassion, justice, education, and other religions.
- Learn about the values and ideals of Islam.
- Hear about the challenges of Muslim youth in America today.
- Ask questions and participate in open dialogue with knowledgeable Muslims.
Presenter Bios
Jawad Khaki (Moderator)
Jawad Khaki is president of the Ithna-Asheri Muslim Association of the Northwest (IMAN).
Dr. Ann El-Muslimanye
Dr. Ann El-Muslimany is founder of the Islamic School of Seattle.
Sanaa Joy Carey, PhD
Sanaa Joy Carey, PhD is outreach coordinator for Ithna-Asheri Muslim Association of the Northwest (IMAN).
