Description

A workshop where theoretical and practical issues related to Universal Ethics and the central ethic of compassion will be discussed from a variety of viewpoints, both secular and religious.

Presenter Bios

Bruno Alabiso

Bruno has worked for a variety of companies in the software industry, including as a researcher for Microsoft.  He is broadly interested in philosophy (especially consciousness and metaphysics), religions of the world, music, and art.

Rabbi Ted Falcon

Rabbi Ted Falcon, PhD, teaches a Kabbalistic approach to Judaism through practices of Jewish meditation and the interpretation of Torah, ritual, and Jewish tradition from a spiritual point of view.

Don Mackenzie

Don Mackenzie is minister and head of staff at University Congregational United Church of Christ in Seattle, where he has overall responsibility for the ordering and well-being of the entire church staff. 

Jamal Rahman

Jamal Rahman is Muslim Sufi Minister at Interfaith Community Church, co-host of Interfaith Talk Radio and adjunct faculty at Seattle University.  He is author of The Fragrance of Faith: The Enlightened Heart of Islam.
