The Art of Mentoring

Monday, April 14. 4:00pm-5:30pm. Fidalgo Room.

Description

Who influences you? How do you pass it on? The art of being or finding a mentor is like the art of being compassionate: both require deep awareness of how we are all connected in community. In this session, Eric Liu and Jena Cane of the Guiding Lights Network share insights from their work with mentors, teachers, and leaders from around the country. They will lead participants in a powerful and playful "talking circle" filled with stories of mentorship and lessons in becoming more mindful mentors.
